Understanding evolutionary processes and clarifying biological mechanisms of physiological adaptation and behavior at multiple levels of marine organisms are essential to predict the adaptability of those organisms to environmental changes. The goal of this course is to educate graduate students who have perspectives and ability to conduct a study on the physiological and ecological mechanisms, the process of adaptation and evolution, the reasonable use of biological resources, and the conservation and management of living organisms in the ocean using genetic, mathematical, and biologging methods.
